A few Cinque Terre facts,
- Cinque Terre is mentioned in documents dating to the 11th century.
- It means five lands and is comprised of 5 villages : Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore.
- The 2021 Disney/Pixar film Luca was set in the fictional town of Portorosso, on the Italian Riviera, placed west of Corniglia on a fictional map. Portorosso was inspired by and modeled after Cinque Terre!
GUYS!!! It’s day 1… finally!!
So here we are on the first day trip on the adventure, we are heading to Italy to the beautiful Cinque Terre. The beautifully coloured cliff side terraces with the gorgeous natural rock and sea was just too beautiful to ignore.
So here it is, the first colourway completly inspired by the absouluty breathtaking Cinque Terre. Full of splashes of colour pulled from the warm tones of the houses, earthy notes taken from the cliff edge and the blue hues that represents the sea that linked the villages. Did you know that the villages are not easily reached by car? The closes road ends a km away!
